1. Who we are

Valuation Studio (valuation-studio.com) is operated by Uncovered World Unip. Lda, NIPC 515810240, Rua da Pedreira 18, 8375-009 São Bartolomeu de Messines, Portugal (“we”, “us”). For anything about your personal data, write to info@valuation-studio.com.

2. Our two roles

  • Controller — for the data of visitors to this website and of the agents and agencies who use Valuation Studio (accounts, billing, support).
  • Processor — for personal data that agents put into valuations, such as their client’s name or details of a property owner. The agency is the controller of that data and we process it only to produce and store its reports, under the data processing terms in our terms of use.

3. What we collect, why, and on what legal basis

We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising profiles, or use it to train AI models.

4. Who processes data for us

  • Hostinger — hosting of the website, database and files, and our email.
  • Anthropic — the AI model (Claude) that drafts reports and reads pasted listing text. The valuation’s inputs, including its photographs, are sent to Anthropic’s API for each report. Under Anthropic’s commercial terms, API data is not used to train its models.
  • PDFShift — converts finished reports to PDF; it receives the report itself.
  • PayPal and, where offered, Stripe — process subscription and pack payments. They act as independent controllers for the payment data they collect, under their own privacy notices.
  • INE and public sources — we read public statistics and web pages for market context; no personal data is sent to them.

Some providers process data outside the European Economic Area, in particular Anthropic in the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

5. How long we keep data

  • Valuations, their photographs and reports: deleted automatically 12 months after they were last opened, edited or downloaded.
  • Accounts: for as long as the account is open, then 12 months, after which they are deleted.
  • Contact messages: kept in our mailbox only as long as needed to deal with the request, and at most 24 months.
  • Invoices: 10 years, as Portuguese tax law requires.
  • Server logs: kept by our host for a limited period for security and then deleted.

6. Security

Data travels only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Photographs and reports are stored privately and served only to signed-in members of the agency they belong to. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Access to the systems is limited to the people who run the service.

7. Your rights

You may ask us for access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, a portable copy, or object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@valuation-studio.com; we reply within one month. If your request concerns data in an agency’s valuations, we will pass it to that agency, as the controller.

You may also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (cnpd.pt).
